Original Painting "Julio's Fate"
Oil on Canvas, 60" x 48", 2010, To be framed by the artist
Julio was a worker on Theodore Roosevelt's incredible adventure on the River of Doubt. When Julio was caught stealing for the second time, he was left behind in the jungles of the Amazon to an unknown fate. Chances are, with hostile natives in abundance, it wasn't good. This painting was created after my return from Brazil. It evokes the mystery of a soul lost to the jungle.
